What is freeze drying?
Freeze-drying is a drying process that involves removing water from previously frozen raw materials by the so-called sublimation, i.e. direct transition to the vapor state, bypassing the liquid state. This process eliminates most microbiological contamination, so it can be safely stored for a long period of time.
Why freeze-dried herbs?
Freeze-dried products retain 90% of their natural shape, color and aroma. Thanks to the possibility of carrying out the process at low temperatures, the raw material prepared by freeze-drying does not lose valuable vitamins and essential oils.
