METHOD OF PREPARATION
At home, we prepare sprouts as follows: We take a flat plate, cover it with gauze or other material that absorbs water. We pour a single layer of seeds on the gauze and pour water, preferably boiled and lukewarm. The water should be topped up so that the gauze is wet all the time. We place the seeds in a warm and preferably dark place.
Depending on the species of the sprouting plant, the sprouts appear after 2-4 days.
In the case of thick seeds, e.g. peas, SOY, chickpeas, etc. or seeds with a shell, e.g. pumpkin, sunflower, we cut the sprouts before consumption, and small seeds are used whole.
RECOMMENDED STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store in a dry place.
